We booked Michelle to decorate the room for our wedding after we were let down by another supplier. From the very start she went above and beyond for what we wanted.

We gave her some ideas and a colour scheme and she created a perfect layout for our day sourcing all the items we wanted for the table decorations and working wonders with them. In the end, Michelle pretty much ended up as our personal wedding planner, she took the stress out of the whole project by sorting requirements with suppliers and the venue to create our perfect day.

Everyone commented how beautiful the room look and it only enhanced our day and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending anyone looking to book for their special day!

Right from the first day we spoke on the phone to Michelle about the Wedding plan, we knew she was the right person for the decoration. From taking time to show us what the sample decoration would look like, to the slightest attention to detail is so incredible. The hall was incredibly beautiful. We hired this company to help us dress our wedding with our own decor to give us a bit of relaxation on the day. I have absolutely no regret and would highly recommend doing so!

The venue dressers completely transformed the space into exactly what i imagined even with my unorganised moment. I didn’t manage to get a plan to them because of some issues I had before the big day and yet, they pulled through and somehow knew exactly how I wanted things with just a few pictures I managed to give them. It was amazing. 

My Husband told me they were so busy from the beginning to end with only a few questions and stayed for longer than they needed to and it really paid off. Their eye for detail, creativity and professionalism made everything look magical. From the tables to the ceremony setup, every element was elegant and perfectly matched our vision. Guests were amazing, and so were we.

I am still absolutely speechless at how beautiful every aspect of our wedding day was and it is all thanks to Charnwood Weddings and Events. During the whole planning process, Michelle would joke I was on of the quietest brides she had dealt with because apart from my ‘Classy with a touch of Christmas’ I really didn’t have much else to bring to the table.

The photographer took a photo of my reaction to the room all set up before everyone went in and I cannot wait to see it because seeing how they’d managed to capture my vision and even going above and beyond that was just the most incredible moment!

I said to Michelle at the start of the planning process that I wanted a little section of the room as a place to honour my grandparents who had passed, she mentioned the idea of doing a memorial ladder but with like everything else they did, they went above and beyond dressing it with flowers and candles. It really was perfect and so special to feel like we had a part of them with us on our day. They are the most incredible family business and I would recommend them to anybody planning a wedding. Nothing was too much to ask for and they would regularly check in and send any updates across.

Wow, what can I say. I booked Charnwood weddings and events only 6 weeks before our big day after having a big panic about how we were going to set all my DIY decor that I’d spent months collection. From the initial contact, Michelle instantly put me at ease and her attention to detail was incredible. She really took the time to understand my vision and was so patient with me. On the day, I was able to put my full trust in Michelle & Sophie and I was amazed to see the transformation that happened in such a short space of time. Just coming back down to earth following our fabulous wedding at the old cow shed. The venue is fab already but it was made absolutely perfect thanks to Michelle and Sophie. It’s difficult to§ try and portray an image you have but they could see exactly what I had pictured in my head and styled our wedding exactly as we had hoped for.
